Research also shows that exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, such as the better mental health. For example, forest bathing, which involves slow and mindful walks through a wooded area helps to reduce stress and promotes relaxation.

“ Our analysis of the average resale prices of 99-year leasehold condos near Jurong Lake Gardens, East Coast Park, Rifle Range Nature Park, and Bedok Reservoir Park indicates that resale condos also benefit from being near nature. The combined average resale price of such condos within a 1km radius of these parks is higher than that of their counterparts located within a 2km radius.”

Primary schools near Pasir Ris 8 condo

For those with school going kids, you might be wondering what schools are near the condo. Within 1 km, Casuarina primary and Elias Park Primary are the nearest. Elias Park is one of the more popular schools in the area. Those aiming for Elias Park via Phase 2C should stand a chance, even if balloting required.  Images below are from Ministry of Education, School Finder website.   Within 1-2 km, there are 7 primary schools in range, of which, Pasir Ris Primary, Gongshang and Angsana are often oversubscribed.

Pasir Ris 8 to be connected to Changi Airport Terminal 5

   According to the Straits Times report on 14th May 2025, the Cross island MRT line (which is under construction now) will be connected to the upcoming new Changi terminal 5. The Thomson east coast line will also reach terminal 5. This is exciting news for Pasir Ris residents like us. Pasir Ris 8 residents will have direct access to the new cross island line located beneath the Pasir ris mall by 2030.
