Pasir Ris 8 Yay!

   According to the Straits Times report on 14th May 2025, the Cross island MRT line (which is under construction now) will be connected to the upcoming new Changi terminal 5. The Thomson east coast line will also reach terminal 5. This is exciting news for Pasir Ris residents like us. Pasir Ris 8 residents will have direct access to the new cross island line located beneath the Pasir ris mall by 2030. Pasir Ris is so ulu. Are you sure you want to stay so far east? That's a common exclamation from one who does not know Pasir ris well enough. I would not blame anyone for thinking like this because I had similar thoughts years ago.
